As I was doing my oil change the other day I noticed that my tires are really wearing on the inside. I did have the alignment done as soon as I found the ride height I like.
Did the ppl perform the alignment wrong?
I was told I need a Camber Kit. That will correct the negative Camber.
Is this true and if it is what kit is the best?
Picturesand linkson where I can get the kit would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Mike
p.s I got the megan racing coilovers

Was the the wear only on the front tires?

alignment of the rear not required because it is a rear beam suspension style.
for the fronts it should be adjustable from the top
I used Eibach's & koni's and I had to oval the 2 holes on the bracket at the bottom of the strut

What are your alignment specs?

If you have negative camber (within reason), the best way to keep even wear across is to take turns more aggressively. If you have negative camber, when you turn, the weight 'leans' to the outside and your outside tire (ideally) would become flat with a full contact patch.

That's why you run more negative camber for a car that is driven more aggressively and less for a car that is not pushed in turns on a regular basis.

You don't need a camber kit.
I think they did a sh*t alignment.
some small -ve camber is fine. The key is the TOE. You need to have that as close to zero as possible. When I got my car aligned i was about -.80ish camber and very close to zero TOE, and didn't have much tirewear issues. It was a bit uneven but nothing drastic.
What was the TOE when you got your car aligned?

well...toe wear in a tire is going to look very different from camber wear. Toe wear will cause feathering (when you run your hand against the tread, you will feel very sharp bumps in the tread blocks and it will not be smooth). Camber wear will be a smooth wear that's noticable on the side of your tire.

0 toe is not always the best, but it is the best for tire wear. I run 0.05 toe out per side on the front and 0.05 toe in per side on the rear. That's about the most I would run to keep tire wear down though. While playing w/ my ride height, I noticed feathering on one tire really badly but I didn't even put enough km's to fill up gas. I brought it for an alignment n it was out very bad. It's corrected now and the feathering was self corrected on the tire after approx 1 tank of gas worth of driving.
