So i've been a long time collector of Marvel comic book statues and to sum it up, i'm trying to cut down and would like to get your opinion on if I should keep or cancel the following statue. I have the next 15days or so to decide.

i dunno man, lemme tell you that i've been collecting Transformers for the longest time (still have original G1 ones from when i was a kid) and i recently got the Alternity A-01 NIssan GTR and it wasn't the same scale as the rest of them so now my shelf looks wonky with the smaller sized one.
i know its no biggy but it made me realize, why'd i just spend $50 on this thing?
maybe sell a couple you don't like and get this sucka.

i collected comic books for a long time...
i was deep into it, did all the art and everything...
eventually, live became too busy to keep up...
i still have them, but i couldnt justify spending that money on comics when i could buy parts for my car

I still love admiring my collection and I'm always tempted to add to it, but when I'm at a store, I look at the price tag and think of car parts

especially since im starting from scratch....again

I collect Transformers (some G1 and mostly Japanese ones) as well but I stopped a while back. The Alternity series was a let down that's why I didn't get any of them. Even the Masterpiece series is kinda crap compared to the 1st one they came out with. The problem with selling the ones I don't like is that... I like all of them



I don't spend money on car parts anymore, don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm actually saving to buy a new car next year. As for my collections, it's where most of my money goes. I spend like over 10k a year on them... they're like RRSP's to me.

but yea...I stopped spending money on my sentra a while ago and started saving that money to mod my new current car!

Looks like you already have that one in your case.

In my opinion, unless these things are guaranteed to increase in value or at least keep their value, the money would be better saved. It just ends up being clutter...that looks cool when you're still young...

it's sentimental value man. Money comes and goes. Do it up if you can afford it.

I stopped spending money on my car and other things a long time ago. Only thing I spend money on now, is hockey stuff, but I've bought everything I need now for playing net, so everything else now goes into the house account. Hoping to buy soon, then the fun begins lol

Man...home ownership is a b!tch. I recommend that people live in condos when they're young so that they can enjoy life. Landscaping, maintenance and repairs sucks up a lot of my money and time. I just had 19 new windows, 2 patio doors and a garage door installed. Next will probably be a 1000 sqft patio in the back so that I don't have to waste my time maintaining the grass...

Problem with collections like this is that when you die, it all ends up in a dumpster cause nobody else want to bother with them lol!
